LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. 3rd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.76 g, 11 h), imitating an issue of Alexander III from Amphipolis. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ (blundered) - AΛEΞANΔPOY Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; in left field, Λ and uncertain object.
